In this project, I will focus on pancreatic cancer, one of today’s deadliest malignancies. I plan to isolate CTC clusters and investigate the molecular composition of the interacting cells within the CTC clusters in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. The aim is to discover the cellular/molecular patterns that provide an insight into the tumour resistance to chemotherapy drugs. This will be an attempt towards precision medicine to minimise the chemotherapy resistance in each patient.
Single-cell analyses of interacting cells in circulating tumour cell clusters.
